I am Denis. 23 years old. Studied Biotechnology for 4 years, currently taking a break from studying.
I like philosophy. I'm taking some applied philosophy classes, which I really feel has been my conscience.
I am a good listener and can engage in deep meaningful conversations when necessary, but also, sometimes my dry humour can be a pain in the ass.

Because it connects people who voluntarily want to meet. Nowadays most encounters and friendships happen involuntarily, but with couchsurfing, two strangers trust each other enough, to share a confined space together and I find that quite interesting.
And also the benefit of having a first hand experience (thanks to the host) with the culture of the country I visit.

So many to list. But a few of them:

Acting! During my erasmus year I took drama classes (as well as partook in several uni theatre plays) and it was one of the best experiences in my life.

Photography! Although I prefer the editing part over the shooting.

I like volunteering. I have been part of many volunteering organizations as well as social clubs in my country.

I like to pretend that I'm more sporty than I actually am.

I'm interested in food.

Questions about preferences are always so radical and were invented to remind us of humans' inability to choose...That said, I'm open to a lot of genres. I like whatever appeals to me in general.
I prefer indie, jazz, electronic, dark wave, synth pop. Well, it really depends on my mood.
Movies: Horror (definitely), Dramas, Thriller
Books: I don't read as many books as I wish I did :(

More crazy than amazing: I climbed a pretty tall mountain, at night, after a drunken party, without any sleep prior to that.
