We are Julia and Tilmann and in April '22 we started a longer-term bycicle trip which brought us to Oman, to the nortcape and back to Germany within 503 days. If you like you can check out our trip here:

Since August '23 we are back and would be happy to host cyclists in the city of Cologne where we are staying now for a while.
Please feel free to just send us copy-and-paste-requests as we know how tough it is sometimes to find a place to sleep at on a cycling trip.
We have only one condition: As we reject air travel because of its massive impact on the environment, we only want to host people who are not flying on their trip.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As we were on a bike trip for 1,5 years we were unfortunately not able to host anybody. In our tent there was hardly enough space for both of us and it is constantly changing its location! Now we are back in Germany and are able to host again.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I hosted some surfers almost ten years ago when I was living in Leipzig. In Wiesbaden nobody ever requested to stay with me since the city is obviously not interesting enough for travellers :-D

My/our overall experiences are pretty good;-)
