About Me

A Spaniard living in London now. I've always been a big supporter of what this website (hey, or HC) tries to achieve and we're really happy to be able to help people visiting London in anyway.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe it's a wonderful way of meeting interesting people and sharing with others.
Moreover, I want to host people from all over the world so they'll show us around when we undertake my long planned trip around the world. But I'm not so sure that trip is ever going to happen!
Maybe we need to set a more modest initial goal like a year in South America... Ok, 6 months!

Interests

The lazy side of my personality always enjoys a good book, and it was impossible to find me without a book in my bag until I gave in to Kindle readers. I also love TV shows and the Internet: i've been addicted to it since I was 15 and I am still amazed by the never-ending list of possibilities it can offer.

I love (but suck at) scuba-diving. I accept recommendations about any diving spots (for OWD, no fancy shipwrecks yet) I should visit!

Travelling, learning languages (other than English and Spanish) and getting to know new cultures are the hobbies I think the most of and I practise the least. Help me change that!

Music, Movies, and Books

Books:

Love in the time of Cholera (Garcia Marquez).
The Gambler (Dostoievsky).

'Castillos de Cartón', 'Malena es un nombre de tango' or any book by Almudena Grandes.

'Norweigan wood' , 'Kafka on the Shore', 'The wind-up bird chronicle' (Murakami).

The unbearable lightness of being (Milan Kundera).

Love story (Erich Segal).

'Jude the Obscure' ( Hardy).

The heart is a lonely hunter (Carson McCullers).

And so many others which I like even better than those in the list. I said I love reading!

Apart from the classics (Queen rocks ;)) I love indie/brit pop music and, in Spanish, rockers like Extremoduro or Marea. I've been called a pussy because I have a thing for very slow and sad music; but I also enjoy a good Nirvana song ;)

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm quite good (for a guy of my age) with technology. Maybe that can prove useful some time.
I'd love to learn about your cuisine and your culture!
