CURRENT MISSION travel, hike, climb, learn, kayak, and travel more ABOUT ME I'm a climate scientist in Seattle, Washington in the US. I am into rock climbing, mountaineering, backcountry skiing, traveling, making bread and brewing kombucha. I love meeting new people and sharing travel stories, and am always up for grabbing a beer. PHILOSOPHY I aim to never accept the status quo - in my own life, in my community, and in the world. At that point, one might as well give up. I like challenges - and tend to run after them.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE So far I've hosted and surfed, and enjoy both equally - look forward to more of the same.
Music, Movies, and Books
I like adventurey movies, comedies, documentaries, and some horror films. Just getting into Thomas Pynchon now - admittedly, a little late. Music-wise, my choices run the gamut, lately really digging folk/Americana and EDM.
One Amazing Thing I've Done

Teach, Learn, Share
Back in the day I used to be a classical guitarist. I also played drums and piano. So I have a rusty, yet sound, knowledge of music and can teach. I love learning and teaching languages - and would be happy to practice with anyone who wants to (have taught Hebrew a lot in the past).
What I Can Share With Hosts
I love to cook! Especially Mexican food and bread. Happy to share this with hosts.
