Hey! My Name is Dharmik and I’m from Surat, India, but I’ve been calling Linz, Austria home for the last couple of years (seven years in Austria altogether!). I work as a Data and AI Engineer and I’m also doing my master’s in AI part-time.

I’d say I’m kind, funny, and a bit adventurous. I get really excited about exploring new cultures, meeting people from different backgrounds, and sharing good stories (and food!) along the way.

For some reason, I lost access to my main Couchsurfing account, so I’ve created this new one, starting fresh and looking forward to meeting amazing people again!

I’m here to meet new people, share experiences, and learn about different cultures beyond just sightseeing. Couchsurfing feels like the best way to connect with locals, make real friendships, and create memories that go beyond travel photos.

Interests

I love being outdoors, hiking, exploring new cities, going for long walks, and catching sunsets are some of my favorite ways to spend time. I enjoy photography too, especially when I can capture nature or city moments that tell a story.

At the same time, I also appreciate quiet indoor moments, cooking something nice, solving puzzles, playing chess, or taking care of my plants. I guess I’m a mix of both: someone who enjoys adventures outside, but also loves cozy time at home.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing things I’ve done was sea kayaking in Croatia, being surrounded by clear blue water and hidden caves was just unforgettable. I also got to see Viehscheid in Switzerland, and it was such a unique and fascinating cultural experience!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer good company, interesting conversations, and a positive attitude. I love cooking, so I’d be happy to make some Indian food or share recipes. I’m always respectful of people’s space and happy to help out however I can.

We can plan a small trip together, go on an adventure, or just walk around the city, grab a coffee, and enjoy good talks.
