Hello! 🤗 I'm Dindia, one of those people with these weird names everybody understands wrong but which make a great ice breaker ;) I'm German-Israeli, was born in Austria (no, not Australia) but moved to Berlin with my mom when I was 11 in 2001, and ever since then this city has become my home :) Berlin is amazing but it can also get tiring, so I left it for a while 2013-2019 to discover new homes in Portugal, Israel, the Netherlands, Ireland and backpacking through South America. Now I'm back in Berlin. I studied business (I don't know why), and volunteered at ESN (in case you know it from your Erasmus time). Now I work for Tandem, a language learning app, because I managed to find a job where I can combine my love for languages and people :)
Interested in Amusement Parks
Interested in Bars
Fluent in German
Learning Hebrew (modern)
Why I'm on Couchsurfing
A friend last year when living in Dublin said: "Everybody, Everybody! knows something that you don't". I want to learn from as many people as possible. Meeting new people and getting to know about their stories interests me a lot. It is also a great way of meeting new people and to get to know a city better. :)
Music, Movies, and Books
My most favourite book: "It's on the metre". A traveler's book about some young english lads driving a taxi across the world. I could talk the entire day about this book :) Other than that: Harry Potter, Indie Rock, Electro Swing, 50s Music
One Amazing Thing I've Done
When I travel I love being in a city and at a certain point taking a random bus to somewhere without knowing the end destination. Sometimes we ended up in beautiful places in the desert, sometimes in super religious regions (without proper preparation) and sometimes in the middle of the highway. Anyway, every time we experienced the country from a totally different perspective.
