Hi, this is Dipa Barua and Chris Doyle. We are on our way to live in Berlin taking the long way around travelling Europe. Dipa, 25, is Bengali-born and Vancouver-raised, who works at a university library and is a writer. Chris, 26, was born in Vancouver and is an Irish citizen, working as a First Aid attendant in construction. He is also a musician. We're looking to get to know people along the way and learn about locals. We started an instagram that's been sparsely added to.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Chris and I are planning to travel for about a year and a half around Europe. We want to get to know the people in each of the cities we visit, and have a chance to make some friends. I've had the pleasure of experiencing a new city introduced to me by locals, and it makes traveling much more interesting and fun.
