Overview
About Me
Hi there! I’m ISMA, a 26-year-old anthropology and sociology student from ALGERIA. I’m passionate about traveling, discovering new cultures, and immersing myself in the local way of life.
I enjoy trying on traditional clothes, tasting local cuisines, and experiencing the daily life of the places I visit. As an anthropology and sociology student, I’m fascinated by the diversity of human cultures and social practices.
I work as an assistant in a foreign touristic association, which allows me to combine my passion for travel with my professional life. I love helping others discover new destinations and cultures.
When I’m not traveling, I enjoy reading about different cultures, practicing photography, and cooking international dishes. I also love hiking, exploring nature, and attending cultural events.
I’m open to hosting fellow travelers who share a love for cultural exchange and are eager to learn about my culture. I enjoy sharing stories, cooking together, and showing guests around my city.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m looking to connect with locals and fellow travelers who can offer insights into their culture and way of life. I’m particularly interested in trying traditional foods, learning about local customs, and experiencing the daily life of the places I visit.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most unforgettable experiences I’ve had was trekking through the Algerian desert. I spent days exploring tadrart and safar , learning about plants, and the bleu man and their traditions. At night, i slept in under the stars. It was a truly immersive experience that connected me with nature in a way I had never imagined.
