ABOUT ME

Well, let's see.I'ma college graduate and right now have decided to take my life in a different direction. My plans of becoming a businessman died when I realized that I could care less about money being my sole ambition in life. I've done a lot of traveling thanks to amazing grandparents who make sure that their grandchildren see the natural splendor our nation has to offer. I have 3 more states to visit and then I've been to all 50! Other things that might be of interest? I love cooking and working on cars. My taste in art is just as varied as my taste in music. My mp3 player has everything from Beethoven to Justin Timberlake and White Zombie.

PHILOSOPHY

Everyone has fun doing something. No matter who they are or where they are, there is fun to be had. I just want to find out how to do other people's something fun.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well this is all new to me. So I'm not participating much as of right now. But I'm always up for meeting new people and going on new adventures! If anyone wants to come down to the Jersey Shore and hang out then let me know! Also, if you ever need a tour guide around New York City I can definitely help you out! I do plan on spending some time in Europe in the not too distant future so if anyone has suggestions or wants to meet up feel free to drop me a line!

Also, for those who are interested, I have 2 snowboards and 2 surfboards! So if anyone is in Jersey and needs a board for the waves or mountain, you're more than welcome to have at one of them!

Interests

Cooking is a passion of mine! To learn native dishes from natives themselves would be amazing! Also, sports are a big part of my life so I love to see the locals doing whatever it is they do. I'm a fan of watching soccer (the eye-foot coordination still hasn't come to me) but I do snowboard and am trying to learn to surf. I love music as well. I do believe that it is somewhat universal and can cross many different boundaries.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a fan of Dan Brown as far as writing goes. I think "Angels and Demons" was a fantastic book. Music is a big passion of mine and I like everything from classical (Beethoven and Mozart) to rap (Jay-Z and Blackalicious) and even rock (Bon Jovi and Metallica).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen my fair share of the wonders that the United States has to offer. The Grand Canyon, Mount Rushmore, Old Faithful, the sunrise over the Atlantic, the sunset over the Pacific, Crazy Horse and Washington, D.C. are just some of the sights that I've seen. And I know there are so many more I will never even remember.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to learn more languages. My Spanish is very broken and rough but I could navigate from town to town in a Spanish-speaking country, but I would love to be fluent in other languages! What do I bring to the CouchSurfing table? Hmmm, I can teach you how to play lacrosse! Or make some good ol' barbeque! If you want to delve into the world of barbeque cooking I feel that I'm a pretty good place to start because I'm still learning too!
