It's not so simple in music: from Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Massive Attack and Led Zeppelin to the Doors, Jack White's bands, from be-bop and hip-hop to georgian's and russian ethnic. It's not answer in cinema. But, may be pictures by Woody Allen, Wong Kar-Wai, Jim Jarmusch, Werner Herzog. And it's impossible to answer about literature.
