I am a writer and a photographer from Ukraine. I work in a video game development company by day and run an educational project about architecture and cultural heritage by night. I give lectures and tours on Soviet architecture in Kyiv and have a keen interest in urbanism and ways to make our cities better. I love to explore new places and particularly modernist architecture (thankfully you can find it everywhere), and to have road trips or hikes into the wilderness. I think I am pretty easygoing person.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
Yes, above all, I love adventures, nature, traveling, and people - that's why I'm here. Couchsurfing is the best way to explore the world. Meeting awesome open minded people while traveling or staying home, having fun together, learning about their culture - what can be better?
Music, Movies, and Books
I prefer soulful movies. Music: world music, French indie pop, post-rock, trip-hop. Books: J.R.R. Tolkien, H.P. Lovecraft.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Participated in an architecture workshop in a tiny Lithuanian village, where we taught the kids from 4 y.o. and above the concept of space and architecture, showed them how to use tools , and built a playground together.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you photography, Ukrainian and Russian language, and how to discern different architecture styles.
What I Can Share With Hosts
My place, small talk or profound conversations, and walking tours of course:)
