ABOUT ME

We are Luke and Kelly Dobbs. We met during our first semester at Oklahoma State University where we lived in the same dorm. We got married on Dec 26th, 2005. Luke graduated with his degree in May and our plans were to buy a house in Stillwater while Luke went to grad school and I finished my degree. In March we decided to abandon all that and travel across the US with just our car and our dog- our most prized possession. Her name is Layla, she is a 4yr old lemon pointer and is by far the most awesome dog that has ever graced this earth. Her favorite pastimes include sleeping, camping and giving high-fives. A recent forced change of plans has found us living in Fort Collins where it is absolutely beautiful!

Kelly:

Luke:
"The more I learn, the less I know." This realization continuously excites me, drives me to meet new people, explore new thoughts, and to be a perpetual student of life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We try to open our house up as often as possible. We love using CS to help us explore Colorado with our enthusiastic guests. We hope that our willingness to host helps build CS as a dependable source of travel and community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We joined CS intending to surf, but a chain of events has turned us into the hosts instead. We are enjoying being on this side of things for now and eagerly await the opportunity to be the surfers.

Interests

We both enjoy camping, music, spending time with our pup, good conversation and good company.

Luke enjoys anything he can place a bet on. As well as teaching himself to play the guitar and discovering good music.

Kelly enjoys photography, gardening, knitting, cooking and baking.
