I'm a pretty crap musician but really enjoy listening to music, particularly stuff that's soulful and has interesting lyrics, bands like Morcheeba or more folky, bluesy stuff like Laura Marling or Tom Waits - and on the other hand, loud electro, rock, and anything you can dance to :P MOVIES!- Everything Is Illuminated, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, couldn't even begin to list other favourite films, love 'em! I reread the Sandman series by Neil Gaiman whenever it won't seriously cripple the ability to do anything else. Favourite writers include David Foster Wallace, Haruki Murakami, Angela Carter, Philip Pullman, and the book 'Mortal Engines' by Philip Reeve is, in my humble opinion, the best book ever written, by anyone, ever.

exploring, politics, theatre and films, poetry, feminism, design, dance and food - but to be über-specific: I love live performance, massive fan of stand-up comedy, particularly if it has a political angle or on the polar opposite if it's completely weird and absurd; I love cartoons!; and I spend most of my life doing theatre stuff, I'd love to write professionally but equally enjoy acting and performing my own material.
