About Me

Hey there!

I've decided to take a break from working and explore the world! On my last long travel, I visited Europe and the Middle East. For this long travel, I just got done checking out Colombia and the Dominican Republic. I'm originally from Chicago but have also lived in Boston, so I consider both of them my homes. Traveling and being able to connect with people in other cultures and in other languages is really something special!

Through my travels, I've learned SO much about myself and the world around me and a plethora of things I had no clue existed. Traveling truly does make people more well rounded people. It really shows you a new perspective and makes me even more grateful!

I have A LOT of interests! To name a few, I love Latin/African dancing - specifically bachata, kizomba, and salsa! Love playing sports and going to the beach or a nice market, cooking a delicious/healthy-ish vegan meal (I'm such a foodie!), doing anything adventurous and thrilling, and being surrounded by great people that care about the world we live in ☺️

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It would be great to meet locals in different cities and have a cultural exchange. Now that I've couch surfed before, it has truly added so much value to not only my travels, but my life. It really gives you the opportunity to establish some really good bonds with people you wouldn't have met otherwise.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like to think I'm super funny and friendly. I have a big personality, but am very laid back as well. I feel like I can establish a common ground with anyone I meet. I can share what it's like to live in the U.S. and different traditions and customs we have. I can also share my knowledge of the English language if you'd like to learn some phrases or how an American accent sounds. I make a good travel companion because I'm pretty much down to experience anything!
