I am a former university professor in the Computer Engineering Department with a PhD specializing in Artificial Intelligence and Software Engineering. Currently, I work as a computer scientist at a research center.

An avid motorbike enthusiast, I have explored Europe extensively, with a particular fondness for Italy, Switzerland, France, and Austria. My passion for travel is deeply intertwined with my love for motorcycling, fueling my desire to discover the world on two wheels.

I have a deep love for the mountains, embracing winter with skiing, snowshoe excursions, and other winter sports. In the summer, I enjoy biking and motorbiking through scenic mountain trails. Additionally, I am drawn to the sea, where I engage in underwater activities, exploring the marine world with enthusiasm.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Yes, my first experience was just two days after registering on Couchsurfing in early May 2008. I hosted Lauren, and we had a wonderful dinner together, sharing stories about our experiences. Since then, I've had the pleasure of hosting guests from the USA, New Zealand, Australia, Thailand, Germany, Hong Kong, France, and Brazil. Some of the amazing people I've hosted include Lauren, Luyen (True to Self), Nancy, Kook, Juhannes, Kiwi, Amy and Ping, Nil, and Pepe.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a fan of classic films like *The Godfather* and *Goodfellas*, and I especially enjoy Martin Scorsese's work, as well as Stanley Kubrick's. I appreciate straightforward narratives and action movies, but I'm not really into science fiction.

As for animation, *Shrek 1* is my favorite. When it comes to actors, I admire the performances of Robert De Niro, Tom Hanks, Brad Pitt, Joe Pesci, Al Pacino, Denzel Washington, and Jim Carrey.
