Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Willing to put people up such as it is. It'd be cosy... mainly here as a way to meet new people as I enjoy booking last minute travels.
I surfed around the east coast US, Europe & have hosted a few people back home.
Bands like Frank Turner, The Clash, Todd Snider, The Slackers. And I don't mind a bit of sport. Or anything competitive.
I also love volunteering with the NGO All Hands. Spent about 10 months in the Philippines working on Project Leyte & Project Bohol.
Music, Movies, and Books
For Whom The Bells Toll, Shantaram . Engleby by Faulks (it's got its critics!), Discworld & Youth by J. M. Coetzee. All of the books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Terraneo Festival in Sibinik, Croatia. A festival based in an old army barracks and amongst the many acts headlined by a Bosnian ska band. Thousands of people skanking in a Croatian field... then dancing through to the sunrise in the old sleeping quarters was like nothing else.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm not done learning to start teaching.
And I want to learn how to dance...
