Spent one month on retreat in a 2000yo zen monastery in the mountains of Hong Kong. Hardcore, but beautiful :)

Also lived in a mud hut in the mountain jungles of India with a Hindu holyman for 3 weeks, cooking on a fire and drinking water straight from the stream. We had to throw rocks at gangs of monkeys to keep them away from our food.
