Hello! I really don't like packing in bullet points to this little box, but lets see what we can make happen.
I'm a computer engineer by trade. I travel as much as I possibly can. I'm currently planning a trip to Scotland. I am a bit ashamed that I only speak one language.
I like meeting new people and making new friends. I enjoy traveling alone, usually, but if not then in small groups. Its always easier to meet people like that.
I spend my spare time reading, going on random excursions with my friends, learning something new... and every now and then I curl up on my couch with some wine or bourbon and watch something nerdy or fun on Netflix.
I've very easy going. I hope I am able to live in another country at least once. The second I meet you, I will probably say something sly or sarcastic, because that's usually how I start breaking the ice.
People tell me that I have amazing luck with things, and mostly I think they're right.
I have a very strong work hard - play hard mentality.
I will drink pretty much anything, but girly drinks are damn good usually.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love the idea of connecting with people in this way. I've had some amazing experiences and most people think I'm nuts for traveling this way...but I think it takes a special kind of person to be okay with that.
I have couchsurfed in Egypt, and it was the best thing I've ever done. I met amazing people, drank wine on a sailboat on the Nile River, and partied at the US Embassy. I've also surfed in France, Spain, and the UK.
I've hosted here in the US, and it has created many lasting friendships.

Music, Movies, and Books
I read basically anything I can get my hands on. I fluctuate between the classics and contemporary fiction usually. I always love a good mystery novel too.
Lately I've been really into music like Depeche Mode and Lindsey Stirling.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've bribed national guards in Egypt and drank wine on the Nile river.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you to make some serious french toast. Beyond that... probably some computer languages.
