我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Together with my previous roomy in Leeuwarden (back in 2013) we hosted a lot of fascinating lots of you. This is a trend I continued myself after leaving this beautiful Frisian city and intend to do so in the future to come! Because how boring is it to stay at a hotel if instead you could mingle with the locals and get the best advice ever asked for? I am here to explore what is unknown to me - places, people, activities - whilst meeting like-minded people and make potential friends for life!

兴趣

I am not someone you will meet in a fancy hotel. More likely you will find me on the street looking completely lost but with a huge grin on my face while doing something weird. If I am not out in the city, I probably got myself a bike to explore the country side, get a bit of fresh air in a forest, enjoy the view from a hill or try to conquer that mountain that's luring in the background!

I mostly act spontaneous, don't really make plans while I am travelling until the very last minute and enjoy the company of like-minded people who are a bit weird themselves.

Books:
Weird taste in books set in the worst kind of dystopias or the most unbelievable utopias. Big fan of George Orwell, Philip K. Dick, Dave Eggers and Aldous Huxley.

Music:
Too much too list, it is always shifting too! Some of my previous favs in no particular order: James Blake, Alt-J, Jack Johnson, The XX, Gorillaz, Jack Garret, Snow Patrol, George Ezra, Artic Monkeys, John Mayer, The White Stripes, Half Moon Run, Carnival Youth, Ryan Adams, Imagine Dragons, Woodkid, Xavier Rudd, Moby, Johny Cash, Kings of Leon, Ben Howard, etc.

Films:
Same with my music, too many! Some all time favourites include: Pulp Fiction, Sin City, The Green Mile, The Grump, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Forrest Gump, The Silence of the Lambs, Fight Club (just gets better the more you see it), American Psycho (book was better), The Shining, etc.
