I've been wearing short hair for ten years and I love that.
Friends say I have a trustworthy face, coz every time I traveled to another city there always have people turn to me for help, show them the direction or help take pictures.
Brought up in Henan, I know some Chinese Kung fu, a little bit of Tai Ji,and some Chinese handwriting.
Currently I'm doing my master's degree at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, so if you come over, maybe I can show you around our campus, or maybe you can sit one of my courses. As a "new" comer(just been here for half a year), I would like to share my experience with you and if possible,we can discover the city together.
Finished my study at the Chinese U and after working for 2 companies, I'm now doing online marketing for a local design&manufacturing company. I enjoy this job a lot and it was not until most recently did I settle down since my last job used to be a nightmare to me. I was quite depressed for seceral months so didn't even check my inbox here. Sorry to everyone who used to sent messages and received no reply from me, please do NOT feel disappointed about couchsurfing because of me, there are huge amount of nice and great couchsurfers out there and I really hope that all of you have received positive responses from these great people.
Now I live around Prince Edward area with my flatmate, and we have a sofabed in the living room. We can maximumly host 1 person. Please PM me in advance(better 3 to 4 weeks) so that I can check the availability.
Working is not so much fun campared to being a student, so do share with me your stories, your culture etc.

How time flies! (see I'm no longer a short haired girl lol)
Havent checked here for a while and now it's nearly the end of this year...
My roommate and I have moved to another district which is still in Kowloon.
My Cantonese improved a lot thanks to my local colleagues:)
Both my roommate and I are getting busier so we decide to close our couch for a while.
Both of us have experienced some up and downs over the past several months...but we are fine now.
I stared to help out for a NGO this year and we are having our 10 year anniversary event early Nov. And I started to tutor refugee kids Chinese and math at a center in Chung King Mansion, last week it was my first time to be with the kids. I also stsrted to help promote my friend's cooking class by recuiting people from meetup group since July. She's teaching people to cook Vietnamese dishes and all the income will go to NGOs.
This year I also brought my parents to Vietnam for several days, first time to bring them abroad by myself. They are getting old and I wish I could send more time with them. So now I'm saving money to bring my parents to more places before it's too late.
Though I'm not able to host you but if possible I would still love to hear your stories.
Time allows I can bring you to some local food and go hiking. And to the church if you like.
HK is an amazing city but I'm still in search of my next destination. Maybe your suggestions or stories can give me some inspiration.
