Overview
About Me
I'm an engineer from La Rioja (Spain) where I grew up until I went to Madrid for university. After 15 years in Madrid I'm happily living in La Rioja again :)
I'm very curious about how the world works and always willing to learn new things, no matter if they are about science, history, languages, cultural differences, etc. I'm a calm and friendly guy, open minded and good listener.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've been interested from people from other places since I was a child, I opened an account here the moment I knew this existed. However, it was recently when I started using it most often, as a host because I moved to a not shared flat and as a guest because I decided to make some trips as solo traveler.
Interests
I like to learn about almost everything, but what I am mainly concerned about is the energy issue, specially renewable energy and de-growth.
I also like to enjoy the nature and respect it. Growing in a small village helped to that.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have to admit my musical motivation is very simple: punk, ska, balkan... Anyway, a classical music concert at an auditorium seems like an excellent plan to me, for example.
I don't let go pass a distopian movie :) And cult ones. But action movies keep me entertained for a while as well.
Before I used to read more, but I think those are epochs.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sitting on the edge of the Preikestolen, with my legs hanging 600 meters over the fjord! Or watching the northern lights from the top of the Kiruna hill to later butt-slide down the ski track in group :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm trying to learn Russian, if you can teach me!
What I Can Share with Hosts
A good conversation and recommendations about nice places all over Europe. Help with Spanish language (I'm very used to deal with Spanish learners). And I'll leave everything at home as I found it!
