Overview
About Me
Hi! My name is Eduard and I’m from Slovakia. I grew up in the country’s second-largest city – a beautiful place in the east. I graduated from the Faculty of Economics in Kosice in May 2024. Currently, I work for an international company specializing in audit, accounting, and tax services. I focus on auditing financial services groups.
In my free time, I enjoy learning more about finance and investments – especially the stock and crypto markets. I’m also passionate about sports: I regularly cycle, go to the gym, and play in an amateur badminton league.
In the summer of 2024, I joined two international volunteer projects through the Worldpackers app – one in Algarve - Portugal, and another one in Italy (between Milan and Genoa). In June 2025, I volunteered at the U21 Euro Football Championship in Slovakia, and in July 2025, I also participated in a Worldpackers project in the beautiful region of Asturias - Spain.
I also took part in a short-term Erasmus+ DiscoverEU project. I love traveling – both solo and with friends – and I enjoy discovering new cultures, exploring beautiful places, and meeting friendly, positive people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing because I enjoy meeting friendly people, experiencing local life, and getting to know different cultures from a more authentic perspective. I also love trying local food and drinks wherever I go. I'm currently working on improving my English and Spanish, so I'd love to have conversations in those languages.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy listening to Imagine Dragons and some Slovak artists. Besides music, I like tuning into a variety of podcasts – whether educational, sports-related, or just for fun. I also enjoy reading books about economics and finance.
In my free time, I often follow Slovak travelers and adventurers on social media – their stories inspire me to explore new places and cultures.
