Hi! I am Eduard from Slovakia. I grew up in the second-largest city in the east of the country and currently work in audit for an international company.

I enjoy learning about finance and investments, but outside of work I am very active - I love cycling, going to the gym, and playing badminton in an amateur league. I also enjoy learning Spanish - I regularly use Duolingo to study Spanish and take an online Spanish class once a week.

Traveling is a big part of my life. In 2024, I joined two international volunteer projects through the Worldpackers app - one in Portugal (Algarve) and another in Italy (between Milan and Genoa). In 2025, I volunteered at the U21 European Football Championship in Slovakia and later joined another Worldpackers project in Asturias, Spain. I have also taken part in a short-term Erasmus+ Discover EU project. In between, I took many other trips.

I love meeting new people, learning about different cultures, and sharing stories, food, and good vibes - whether it is exploring a city together or just having a good conversation.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing because I enjoy meeting friendly people, experiencing local life, and learning about different cultures from an authentic perspective. I also love trying local food and drinks wherever I travel. Currently, I am working on improving my English and Spanish, so I´d love to have conversations in either language.

I enjoy listening to Imagine Dragons and a few Slovak artists. Besides music, I like listening to a variety of podcasts - whether educational, sports-related, or just for fun. I also read books about economics, finance, and travel.
