ABOUT ME

I moved from the west coast of Canada in the fall of 2013 and spent a year living in Virginia (USA) now I'm back in Canada, living in an Ottawa apartment with my two cats!

PHILOSOPHY

I used to think I knew everything - but every time I think I am sure about something, it doesn't take too long until I find out I'm wrong :) I'm not sure that this is a philosophy...but I've learned to enjoy being wrong!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been with couchsurfing for more than 10 years, and have also been been with hospitality club for 6 years before that.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had some great experiences! I traveled through the southwest USA (California, New Mexico and Arizona) and met some amazing people. I have been hosted many people who enjoyed skiing at Mount Washington, near my previous home in British Columbia. I enjoy sharing meals where everyone contributes something.

I learned this from a very good friend (and a couchsurfer!): to peel a banana, do it like a monkey! Grasp the end with the stem and pinch the other end until the peel pops open. Then pull the peel down. Much easier!
