I’m Eila, a 27yo Mexican who just finished college and decided to take a break to explore the world and myself 🌍✨
I’ve been living abroad for a couple of years, so I’m hoping to meet new people and build meaningful connections as I travel. I’m trying to connect with others, create new experiences, and learn from different perspectives — maybe it helps me deal with that feeling of being a little lost sometimes.
But, who doesn’t feel that way in their 20s, right? 😅

I love cultural exchange, learning about everything, and having long, meaningful conversations. I talk a lot, but I’m also a good listener. I’m a highly sensitive person (HSP), which makes me deeply empathetic and curious about others' stories.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I’d like to meet new people. I’ve been living abroad for a couple of years, and I don’t have many friends around at the moment…
I consider myself a very open and curious person, and I adapt easily to different environments (not for nothing have I lived in more than 10 cities) :)

That’s why I think Couchsurfing is a great platform to find people with a lifestyle similar to mine.

I’m a great storyteller, my life is kind of interesting and funny!
I’m also a good listener. I can cook amazing and authentic Mexican food, I’m great with kids, and I’m pretty good at crafts, I can even teach you how to make piñatas!
