ABOUT ME

Like many on this site, I have the travel bug and hit the road whenever I'm able. Stateside--a goal is to visit all 50 states by the time I'm 50. Abroad--2 more continents to go. Of course my interests are more than just my travels and too various to name; it just depends on what captures my curiosity at the time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The experiences I've had thus far, both surfing and hosting, have been awesome. The warmth and generosity of all the hosts who open their homes to a virtual stranger is heartwarming. I read on someone's profile that CSers are friends you haven't met yet. I've found this to be consistently true. Even better are some of the lifelong friends I've made. Each of them brightens whatever part of the world they're currently living. As if I need any more reason to travel. ha.
