Hello beautiful humans:)
My name is Eirini (it means peace in greek, I resonate a lot with it🌞), and I am deeply in love with traveling. I have spent some time living and studying abroad - two years in Switzerland and one in Spain, exploring and backpacking through the two countries. I am now back in Athens for a year, learning how to embrace the slow life and enjoying the simple things. But also slowly preparing myself to take a leap into a nomad life as soon as I can.

I am very curious and always down to try new things. My biggest passions are backpacking, scouting and spending time in the mountains, making crafts, cooking, photography, languages. I am in love with Mother Earth and try to connect with Her as much as I can. I like to move my body in any way, read books and learn stuff, meet openminded people and have long honest conversations with them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I feel more connected when I travel, and usually it comes with the people I meet. I can't find words to describe how much I love it when we human beings help each other and find solutions as a community.
Until now I have been blessed with amazing encounters and I would be honoured to give back to other travellers.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am currently mostly listening to 70's rock artists, organic atmospheric techno and reggae-cuban music. But this depends on the situation and who I'm with:)
I haven't watched lots of movies in my life, but I like true stories/ documentaries/ social movies.
At the moment, travel books and ethnographies are a new obsession to me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been in a scout group for almost 13 years, which means I've camped, hiked, danced and singed by a campfire, played, learned nature skills for endless nights and summers.

I would love to listen and learn whatever you want to share with me, I promise to be like a sponge:)
I can teach you how to cook traditional greek foods, or any of the languages I speak. We can talk for hours about traveling or nature.
