ABOUT ME

(update Oct 2015) I'm taking a break from working so will be traveling and chillin in SF for a few weeks. If I'm in SF, I'm definitely up for hanging out and showing visitors to San Francisco the local scene. I get a lot of visitors so it is rare that I can host these days, but sometimes the timing will work out if you send me a request.

-------
I moved back to San Francisco in July 2013 after almost 2 years living in brazil. I'm enjoying being back in SF, esp the music scene and all the great food. We are just so spoiled in this city. I really enjoy hosing people but I have a hard time planning far in the future b/c I travel a lot, and my current J.O.B. is at times intense with lots of late nights. Also, I want to make sure I have time to spend with my guests and explore the city with them -- so a lot depends on my schedule.

---
Hi, I just moved to Rio de Janeiro (July '12) and am getting to know this beautiful city. I'd love to meet fellow CSers who love the outdoors - climbing, hiking, surfing, biking... some many great options right here in Rio.

I'm also working on my portuguese, looking for conversation partners, and available to teach business English.

PHILOSOPHY

The definition of insane is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love the CS ethos and I enjoy showing foreigners around SF.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Now that I'm back working full time, I really miss my international experiences so couch surfing is a way to experience that without leaving home. My best CS experiences have been where my CS guests really enjoy sharing their culture with me, and especially when it involves cooking. :D

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - rock, blues, gospel, jazz, bluegrass, ska, reggae, dub step, house, other electronica - my music interests constantly evolve

Film - I like the heavier stuff, the dramas, documentaries, foreign films, etc. I'm also down to see the latest action adventure movie.

I read a lot of books that help give me perspective and make me smarter about life

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sailing around the Galapagos islands for an entire week. I was on a vintage 70' sailboat and I'll never forget the time when the sun was setting and dolphins were darting out of the water in front of the bow while we were sailing. amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

Whatever I can. It really depends on the other person. I really like cooking dinners w/couch surfers and there's always an opportunity to learn from others in the kitchen.
