PHILOSOPHY

I try to live a most satisfactory, fullfilled and conscious life - for myself and the people I love and care for. I want to be a happy and shining person. But there's also much to struggle - emotionally (with myself), with my surroundings and the broader "meaning of life" (or rather: the chances to find one). I've come to understand that a lot of these struggles arise from the very way our society is structured; and that there's no simple way out of this mess.
Although the simple "travel and be happy" philosophy many CS boast doesn't work for me, I believe the CS spirit to be one major step towards a better world - a world where we can truely interact and meet on an equal basis. That's why I'm here :-)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'd enjoy hosting people who are more intersted in getting to know others and "life" of a travelling destination than touristic sites.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed several times in Ireland and once in London. Very different, but in general positive experiences!

- Sports (when I find time)
- Travelling (I long for a time, when I have less work and more free time for travelling)
- A Deliberate approach to my social life: trying to find non-conventional, less alienated ways of dealing with the people I care for.

I'm not good with that. I recently watched some passolini-movies, quite liked that. I almost always like listening to classical music - it calms down the soul and elevates you to some higher ground, if you fall into it; but I enjoy jazz, blues, punk, electronic (also the really fast stuff...) and probably all other kinds of things when I'm in the mood...
