Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Hosting CSurfers frequently, I also participated in meetings, parties, treking, and any other CouchSufing event
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Since simply meet people to host people is a totally different experience.
All the experiences I've had since I joined CS were positive, because I have expanded my vision about the world, from simple things like food or improving my English, to underestand their reasons for traveling and discovering new places and people.
Interests
I'm a quiet person who really likes the art of dance. I practice some folk dances in my country and I'm currently learning flamenco.
I love to meet people from different countries and cultures and show a little of mine.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Back in my school and university days, I was all about Rock music, from The Beatles to the grunge and alternative rock of the 90s. Folklore was never really my thing. But one year, a friend invited me to the famous Carnaval de Oruro in Bolivia, and that day completely changed my perspective.
At first, I was bored, not really into the folkloric music. But then something magical happened. During the parade, there was a long pause of about ten minutes. Suddenly, thick white smoke filled the street. Out of nowhere, the sound of cymbals exploded, the brass band began to play with incredible power, and from within that smoke appeared hundreds of dancers performing La Diablada. My heart was racing like never before, it was breathtaking!
That moment hooked me for life. From then on, I went to the Oruro Carnival every single year for more than 15 years. It’s something so unique and powerful that I truly believe everyone in the world should experience it at least once.
Teach, Learn, Share
I’d be happy to teach you Spanish in a fun and easy way, not just with grammar and words, but through conversation and everyday expressions. I can also introduce you to the basics of Latin dances like salsa and cumbia, and even some of the folkloric dances from my country, which are full of history, energy, and color.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Music is a big part of who I am, and if you’re interested, I’d love to share Bolivian music with you, from traditional rhythms to the sounds that shaped my own journey. For me, sharing culture is one of the most beautiful ways to connect with people, so I’m always open to learning something new from others as well.
I can share my travel stories and experiences , as well as tips about the most beautiful tourist places to visit in my country. If you’re curious about the political side of Bolivia, I’d be happy to talk about that too, preferably in Spanish, since my English is still at an intermediate level (though I’m always willing to try!).
More than anything, I love good conversations, cultural exchange, and finding common ground through stories and laughter.
