Half Dominican, half Danish, I was born and raised in French Guiana. I am an outgoing, fun and positive person that enjoys spending time with other people.

I am absolutely addicted to traveling, to getting to know new places, new people, to trying new things. I just love the freedom and the peace that exploring the world brings me.
As I go backpacking, I sometimes enjoy stopping for few months in some of the countries to have a better idea of what living there is like.

I am currently backpacking around the world. My journey consists of going wherever the wind takes me in the hope of finding myself while explore our beautiful planet.
I love to meet new people, and to share stories. Getting to know new countries, new cultures, the different kind of nature, the food... well, everything that a new country has to offer is simply fascinating :)

Musik, Filme und Bücher

There are many good things in this world, how could I ever choose..!? ;)

Music: pop-rock, folk, classical, jazz, love the classics English & French.. bachata, forró, samba, ... a bit of everything, really!

Books: lately all my book choices have been whatever I could swap at hostels' little library. I really like realism, classicism as literary genres (once again, both English & French).

Movies: I am more into series. Let's say that I am a Netflix addict. "Hi, my name is Elayne and I binge watch more than I should"

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Went cage shark diving in South Africa and almost lost some fingers.. the experience was still delinitely worth it haha.
Went volcano boarding in Nicaragua, and volcano camping on Acatenango in Guatemala. Breathtaking!
