About Me
Breathe and Smile, Dear One
I am a Buddhist Studies graduate student at Fo Guang University 佛光 in Taiwan, working on my thesis now.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am exploring monastic life, visiting Buddhist monasteries in Asia, but I don't have an income, so I need to be mindful of my monetary spending.
Also, I really enjoy meeting people and listening to their life experiences and stories.
Interests
I am a Buddhist practitioner, primarily practicing to live mindfully and happily. So I am a quiet person, although I laugh easily.

Teach, Learn, Share
I love to help people learn English, especially pronunciation. I have standard American pronunciation, and I have had a lot of success helping friends from many different language backgrounds discover how to make sounds not found in their native languages. I really enjoy this because I simultaneously learn more about English and also about the native language of the friend I am working with.
I also love to learn about the native languages and cultures of the people I interact with. So if you like to share about your language and/or culture, I think we would have a lot to talk about together.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Aside from English, I do my best to share happiness/smiles and calm energy with everyone I encounter.
