ABOUT ME

I am catalan, was born near Barcelona but lived and studied in Girona for the last 6 years. I just finished the degree and now I'm looking forward to move and travel around different places before I start my medical career! I want to learn as much as possible from what and whom surounds me, so I'd like to go to as many new places and meet as many different people as I can.

PHILOSOPHY

Well.. I would say my philosophy is to learn and be inspired from absolutely everything, while I try to enjoy my life the best I can. Impossible to accomplish without books, curiosity, an open mind, the seek for adventure and PEOPLE. And beer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For a time, as I couldn't travel as much as I would have liked (because of the degree mostly), hosting people was my way to "travel": I could meet new people and know about other places by listening to their stories.

Now I'm preparing my Medical State Exam and it doesn't give me much free time, but I am going to do a huge travel in february 2015 when I'll pass it! South America is going to be the destination, where I hope I'll meet amazing people and will happily embrace all what the experience has for me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted more than surfed to the moment. But, hopefully, it will have twisted up by the end of next year :)

Interests

A big part of my interests are related to science, the human body and health. Nevertheless, I don't want to be focused just on that, so I try to read a lot, travel and hang out whenever I can.
I like philosophy books, cultural knowlege and the conversations that make me think. So it's true that I'd like to have as much knowledge as possible, but is a pleasure to discuss for a while about one thing that you just used to assume.
Discovering a new place, its people and its culture, how they think about the world.. all of that can make you think, and I like thinking. I prefer to share what I think, though. So good conversations (best if over a drink) would be one of my major interests.

The more I learn, the more I realize about how little I know.
And that of course makes me want to learn more and travel more!

"Travel is the only thing you buy that makes you richer" I read somewhere a long ago. How true, I thought.
Then I red it once again, years later, on the storefront of a travel agency. Good point, travel agent.
