About Me
I'm a curious and open-minded person who wishes to live life to the fullest! 🌟
In 2022, fresh out of university and my first ever job, I left for my fist solo trip without thinking too much about what I would do once I'd come back. I went to South Korea for 2 months for a Workaway volunteering experience in a social farm. That's when it clicked: that I would not be happy with an "ordinary" life in my hometown. I wanted to explore, grow and meet like-minded people. That was the start of my search for a balance: my love for traveling and adventures and the need for a home with a circle of close people... I'm still trying to figure it out ahaha in the meantime I'm working to save enough for my next big adventure 😂
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I signed up on CS to get to know like-minded people who love traveling and want to share meaningful conversations and experiences. We grow through the experiences we make and the people we meet along the way 🌻
I hope to host travelers one day to repay the kindness that the CS community showed me 🙏🏻🫶🏻
Interests
The best part about traveling for me is really about the people you meet and the knowledge you exchange. Traveling is like re-learning how to live by seeing life through the eyes of a different culture, it's challenging your way of thinking through open conversations and non-judgmental observation.
When I need to relax and reconnect with myself, I like to go on walks with my camera. However, I'm really an absolute beginner and I feel like I lack the true "artistic eye", so if you also love photography and want to teach me something, I would be happy to learn!
Food is a central part of all of my travels, and it's the only thing on which I don't mind spending a bit of extra money 😋😅
I'm also interested in spirituality and meditation and would love to learn more about that. How to reconnect ourselves to the present moment and feel peace within (or escape from?) this modern lifestyle so focused on performance and productivity
This year, I also want to start a new sport, I did ice-skating and indoor climbing in the past. Right now, I just go to the gym a couple of times a week. I want to become strong 💪🏻 ahah
