I am an aspiring performer (22yo) and often travel to do so. I've recently traveled to Morocco and around the US. I'm looking to meet people and experience as much as I can. I am interested in live performance and video above all else.
I live and travel with Remy (21yo), he is an aspiring jack of all trades. Master of none. He is pursuing professional astrology and event coordination.

We are both young but have done a fair bit of traveling and living on our own, and are always wanting to learn more.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are on couchsurfing to meet you! And any other travelers and hosts along our journey.
My favorite thing about a new place is learning about what the people in that place do, and seeing it with my friends. I hope to experience that and make new friends in the process.

Interests

I really like making things, any things. I like scheming with my friends and then carrying out said schemes. I am very passionate about the environment and I pick up litter when I see it. The absurdist in me loves tourist attractions. I am a big fan of going with the flow and taking it easy, but I can pick up the slack if needed. My brother and I love to play music and want to write our own someday.

Remy, the person I live with is into professional astrology, travel, gaining knowledge of the unknown (within reason), event organization (mostly music), candy, telepathy, sweets, fruit, etc.
He hasn't been out of the country yet, besides Canada, but he most wants to travel to Cambodia, Turkey, Germany, Russia, and Kazakhstan.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - is a big part of my life and personality. Tell me your music taste and I would hope I'd be able to recommend something good. I like researching music and subcultures and know a little bit about a lot of genres.
Right now I'm listening to a lot of the band Young Fathers, specifically their albums
Cocoa Sugar and Heavy Heavy.

Books- Most books from my childhood are very special to me: Because of Winn-Dixie, Holes, Stargirl, and The Invention of Hugo Cabret for example.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of my favorite things I've done has been digging holes on a farm in the Moroccan desert. It was a crazy wakeup call and I realized just how much I like doing physical work. That doesn't really describe my personality all that well though, so I'll provide another one. A few years ago, I stayed in a 1 star hotel near busch gardens with my 3 best friends, and consumed nothing but slurpees for 3 days. We lived in the hotel and rode roller coasters constantly, to the point of constant nausea. 2 days into the trip, we all pooled together our money and bought a plate of chicken at the food court. We ate it like wild animals, and it was the best meal I've ever eaten. Definitely one of the best times of my life, and it felt very simple.

Remy has been back and forth to Southern California to visit his family throughout his life on the East Coast. He has been on various road trips and has experienced diverse ways of living. Journeys to Canada and Colorado are just a couple he has experienced. He has spent time living in Anaheim, CA, North Carolina, around Virginia, Maryland, and Washington D.C.
Traveling through America has been a joy for him to live throughout.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a bit about cooking and could share how I do it with you. I can teach a bit about how I film and edit videos if you're curious, but I'm no expert. I would love to share my methods of performance and how I put on shows with my group as well. I'm quite passionate about all things entertainment. I'd love to know what whiks you off to a new world and I'll listen for as long as you like.

Remy would be able to share his knowledge about astrology. He can look at your chart or research your location astrology (astrocartography). He'd love to learn about various people's internal and external worlds.

Hearing about other people's interests is fantastic to us, we'd love to talk and listen to you, or learn whatever it is you may want to show us. We are both passionate about language exchange.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can talk if you wish, I can also easily keep to myself and make the most of alone time. I have lived with roommates and understand the importance of cleaning up my own messes. I can help you with household tasks and I'm not a picky eater. I like to think I can be a lively addition to social gatherings and would be ready to meet up with others if need be. I also love animals just as much as the next guy and am not picky about where I sleep- as long as it's not the sidewalk.
