Hi! I am an American currently on a very belated “gap year” (or, an around-the-world trip) starting in Europe and moving over to Asia before probably finishing up somewhere else. I’ve lived in several parts of the US, but most recently in San Francisco where I worked for a nonprofit. I’m using my time abroad to meet new folks, have some rad experiences, and hopefully gain some clarity on where to settle down next and what I want to do! Easy, right?

I’m super laid back and appreciate any recommendations, coffee/beer chats, and whatever couch, mattress, or patch of floor you have free. I’ve experienced so many acts of kindness from strangers during my travels, and have wracked up some serious karmic debt that I hope to repay very soon.

While I’ve traveled quite a bit in the past, I’m new to couchsurfing. I’m excited to make new friends, get the local perspective on new places, and save some cash. A win-win-win!

Interessen

I’m passionate about travel (obviously) and all things health and fitness related. I run and hike as much as I can, and also enjoy thrift store shopping, coffee shop-ing, painting, concerts, cooking, and the like. I also do volunteer work in my community and am looking for opportunities to do some humanitarian work abroad.

Maybe I’m homesick, but I’ve been listening to lots of Real Estate lately and love that beach vibe sound. I’m really into documentaries and nonfiction books, because real life is just such a trip.
