About Me

I've been traveling around the world quite a bit for the past 3 years, and I've decided to settle for a bit in Boston, with my husband.
I spent most of my life in France, and 3 years in the States. I met Ben (my now husband!) 2 and a half years ago, at a karaoke bar in DC. We now live together in Boston, after spending time in DC, France and England.
I met most of the people I know in Boston through the Boston Bike Party, a one of a kind monthly event, where we get social on bikes, while dancing in the streets (yes, you read that right! -we also have costumes going on..-). It's just pure awesomeness, and a great occasion to meet amazing people.

And I love meeting new people and spending valuable time with friends!

Turns out we now moved to Portland, OR and it's quite nice over here as well ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Ben and I have been traveling a lot in our lives, and we both agree on something: hotels are not made for us. When we go somewhere, we like to do it the right way: see places from the inside. Taking the bus, staying at locals (we use airbnb a lot over couchsurfing cause we always feel bad about arriving super late on a last minute trip..).
Anyway, we like meeting people, we like to give tips on where to go, and we love to hear about traveling experiences.
We're on Couchsurfing today, because we have an extra bedroom (that we usually use as an office, as Ben works from home) that could be yours!

**while we're super excited to host some surfers, we'd rather host somebody for a short period of time (1-2 days) as we're new to it :) **

Music, Movies, and Books

I like any type of music, as long as it's good (rythme, lyrics..).
The thing that would make me dance no matter what would be Ska. I just love it!

My favorite books would be "Froth on the Daydream" (L'Ecume des Jours) by Boris Vian, or "To kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee.

Movie wise, Hayao Miyazaki is one of my favorite directors. I really connect with Tarantino's movies as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While studying in France, I decided that I would do an international internship. I knew English, but not fluently, and decided that I would come to the States for 3 months (where my sister lived) to go be an Educational intern in a Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, in the middle of Alabama. I had no idea what I would do there and how I would do it (talking about american birds all day was not my cup of tea), but it turned out to become a passion. It was very challenging, and was one of the best decision of my life!
