Hello! We are a family of 6 that enjoy travelling.
Two of our kids have moved out, so there is some space to welcome travellers passing through. And we also plan to do longer cycling tours as a couple in the future. We have a house with a garden in a quiet neighbourhood, yet very close to town (Fribourg). We like to cook and have discussions over a good meal around the table. Some of our family members are vegetarian, so we cook a variety of meals to cater for most tastes :) We are all non-smokers, but tolerant should any of our guests want to smoke outside on the terrace.
If you stay with us, you will also meet our dog Finn, a labrador/golden retriever mix, and be able to taste fresh eggs from our 4 hens. Our main languages at home are Swiss-German and English, but we live in a French neighbourhood and speak fluent French. We also get by well in Spanish.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

We enjoy hosting people from all over the world and the interesting discussions that often evolve in these situations. Each visit is like a mini-vacation and it allows us to "travel" while remaining at home. These encounters also inspire us to plan our next trip(s) :)
