ABOUT ME

Me is actually me and my wife Felicia. I'm from Italy, an engineer, researcher and social entrepreneur. Felicia is Swedish and a midwife. We live in Stockholm, and we are now travelling for four months on our extended honeymoon :) We've been six weeks in India, now it's time for Singapore, after that we'll most likely head north by bicycle.

We've both been living in Stockholm for many years and love with this amazing city. Our favourite parts of trips are the discovery of Nature's overwhelming beauty by bike/hiking/kayaking etc, as well plunging into big city life. Wandering about and watch it live, hear its sounds, smell its flavours, feel its energy, and meet its people. And that's where CS comes into the picture. We've travelled to lots of places and stayed in hotels, guest house, hostels and at friends', and it's the latter option that always have me the best out of the place. It is great to meet the locals, and sneak into the local life for each city I visit, and with some luck make some new friends!

PHILOSOPHY

Life is to be enjoyed, now and in every moment.

Each person is unique and is made happy by different things, let everybody choose their happiness.

The only things that are morally wrong are those that are going to hurt other people. Or yourself, for that mater.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been in stand-by mode for the past 2+ years, but I am back now, travelling South-East Asia with my wife, Felicia.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed, hosted, met locals for coffee and been to couchsurfing beer nights. And it's always been great!

Intereses

Sports, especially those that put you on touch with Nature, like running, trekking, kayaking, back-country skiing, etc..

Movies, especially independent, although I can enjoy a big blockbuster too once in a while.

I enjoy reading, although I do less than I would like to, unless when on holiday.

languages are very fascinating.

Most genres of music. I've gone through stages during life: from classic to rock, to jazz to electronic... Lately I am becoming very pop... back to basic that is:)

Movies: I have just re-watched and re-enjoyed "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" in a park in Stockholm.

Books: currently the Sapiens best seller and Eric Fromm
