Studying in Cologne for a year to improve my German but taking the opportunity to travel Europe because that's super hard to do from Australia. I'm having the best time travelling around Europe but that too is proving to be a costly expense, so I'm going to try my hand at couch surfing. I'm neat, so I won't be leaving annoying messes around your home, and I love to have a good chat and learn about the city I'm in. Recommendations for cities are also very much appreciated :)

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I'm a poor student that wants to see the world.
Music, Movies, and Books
My lifelong favourite book is Wild Swans (a biography/autobiography spanning 3 generations in communist China). My lifelong favourite series is Harry Potter (coincidentally my dog is named Harry...) and the Golden Compass series (my cat is named after a character in this book too). Movies and music tend to change with whatever mood I'm in, but common themes tend to be sci-fi and childrens animation (don't judge me)
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Lived in Germany twice now. The accumulated times of both exchanges will add up to 19 months and I couldn't be happier with that outcome. My German is still awful though, but points for effort right?
Teach, Learn, Share
Can teach English if you're learning. Can learn local languages (please teach me phrases in your language).
What I Can Share With Hosts
Can share some pretty unique living-in-Australia stories that usually get a laugh or 2 (like that time I almost got viciously murdered by a kangaroo).
