我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

----------- 2025 Gap Year -----------
I just quitted from my 5-year job as an English teacher in an art school to seek new perspectives and possibilities in life. It's also a long-awaited journey for decluttering and self-contemplation.

This August, I started backpacking across Europe after finishing the 13-day Tour du Mont Blanc (TMB) trail around Switzerland, France, Italy. It's been a challenging yet healing experience throwing myself out there in the nature.

----------- 2018 Summer -----------
I am currently on a Trans-Siberian railway trip, starting from Hong Kong → Beijing → Harbin → Manzhouli and crossed the Russian-Chinese border about two weeks ago. I have stayed for a couple of days in Chita, Irkutsk, Olkhon Island, Novosibirsk, St. Petersburg, as well as Kyiv in Ukraine and Helsinki in Finland. I’m currently in Moscow and will be visiting Astana and Almaty in Kazakhstan in a week!

----------- 2017 Summer -----------
This June 2017, I will be travelling around Thailand, Myanmar and South India with my friend, Angel. We are desperately looking for places to stay (but only female hosts this time :P) around the countries for budget-travel's sake, do hit us up if you are available :) We need places to stay for Yangon, Chennai, Pondicherry, Madurai, Bengalore and Mumbai. We will be visiting local NGOs in India to raise public awareness towards environmental protection and women's rights once we head back to Hong Kong. Would love to be inspired by amazing couchsurfing hosts from all around the world!
