Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING: Surfing around the world and hosting when I can! COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE: I'd rather Couchsurf and meet strangers than stay in a hotel by myself, 100%! You get to experience a different side of the local culture, more than what tourists get to see. I have many long-lasting friendships around the world that have come from Couchsurfing and hosting.
Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, Lord of the Rings, Life Is Beautiful, Dead Poets Society, Reality Bites, Love Me If You Dare Books: One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, Cat's Cradle, Through Painted Deserts, Omnivore's Dilemma, The Broken Wings, The Alchemist, Gulliver's Travels, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, The Hobbit Music: Martin Sexton, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Al Green, Louis Armstrong, Paul Simon, Joni Mitchell, Avett Brothers, The National, Arcade Fire, Simon and Garfunkel, Otis Redding, Fleet Foxes, Mumford and Sons, Josh Garrels, Daisy May, Norah Jones
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Rafted the Nile, celebrated Dia de Los Muertos in Guatemala, rode elephants in Thailand, spent a month hitch-hiking around Patagonia, hiked part of the Great Wall, did an 11 countries in 11 month trip around the world, saw the Cherry Blossom season in Tokyo, surfed in Bali, bolted a new climbing route in the Andes, ran a guesthouse in Cambodia
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you some languages (Khmer, Swahili, Spanish, Korean, English) and how to play the Ukelele. I want to learn every other language and to hear stories. I love to cook and am always happy to share a meal with people.
What I Can Share With Hosts
I'd love to cook and share a meal with you!
