Nature is a place that I call home, all aspects of it draw me in, from the tiniest of insects to the tall graceful hemlocks here in the northeast. I find passion in exploring the world around me, seeing how we are all connected on different levels. I'm a very adaptable person and love learning new skills. I really love to hear people's different perspectives on all sorts of things.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love fantasy, dystopian, and historical fiction books as well as non fiction on nature. My favorite book is Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer.

I love shows like Sense8 and doctor who. I enjoy studio Ghibli movies, Anne of green gables, ratatouille, into the wild, everything everywhere all at once, captain fantastic, pride and prejudice, hunger games, and movies by Taika Waititi.

I'm a big folk music fan, but listen to most everything. Reggae, psychedelic and indie rock, soul, jazz, cumbia, funk, Celtic music, hip hop, and getting into punk music. Who wants to start a Celtic reggae fusion band!? I love collecting music while traveling, it's like creating an audio journal of memories attached to those songs.

Bikepacking more than 250 miles by myself through the beautiful temperate rainforests of Vancouver Island, British Columbia.
