ABOUT ME

I live in Japan but I'm from good ol' blighty! A little bit of a geek, can be shy in big groups, but generally people tell me I speak too loudly and too much sometimes. Loves 80s and 90s cheesy tuneage, and going dancing and to karaoke!! I'd also like to think I'm kind, positive and get on well with all different kinds of people.

I love 80s movies and funky fashion, generally spending time with my family or friends is what makes my life engaging! meeting new people and getting out and seeing the world! I try to travel as much as I can and go out and do things as much as I can! When I'm not working or watching movies I'm usually planning an outing to another interesting place.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Driving up to the edge of the Mount Aso Volcano (in Kyushu) crater edge and seeing the bowl of the crater from above before driving down into it, was well impressive! Seeing sunrise from near the top of mount fuji! Hiking in Sapa (northern Vietnam) through clouds of mist and fog to emerge into the sunshine and see way below us a river and a small village and terraced green rice fields either side, very beautiful!

I've been an English teacher for several years now, so if anyone wants to improve their language skills, maybe I can help. Also I'm not very good at languages but i like learning them, learning japanese is an ongoing process, also interested in learning a bit of russian as am considering doing the trans-siberian railway next year.
