before travelling I worked on a tallship for a charity, taking disadvantaged young people sailing, and hopefully giving them some direction in their lives. I loved it. seeing people grow in confidence and work together with people they'd never met was amazing. it made me appreciate what I have and I learned a lot about myself. I now want to see the world and the amazing people in it. I love life. I don't really know what I want to do when I finish exploring...but I know I want to make people smile.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I want to meet good, honest people from all over. I think couch surfing will help me get to know an area well, and meet real and varied personalities. when I am travelling I like to do what the locals do. I love socialising and believe couch surfing is a fantastic way to do that. I have also been living in a tent for quite a while, so staying somewhere which doesn't leak/move/has creepy crawlies snuggling up to you would be amazing!
Music, Movies, and Books
favourite movies: the blues brothers, forrest gump, spiderman, the godfather. favourite books: to kill a mocking bird, shanteram music: I just love music! from rock and roll to bagpipes to rap... music makes things better! I love hearing new music, going to gigs, singing along in the car or dancing in the street! if it makes me move my feet I like it!
One Amazing Thing I've Done
has to be the 'chair of death' bungee in New Zealand. so cool!
