About Me

¡Hola amigos!
Life’s too short for the big world we live in.
New cultures, new traditions, new beliefs, all those new things are out there to be discovered.
We are nomads by nature… let’s explore this beautiful world and share those cultures, traditions and beliefs.

My name is Manolo and I’m from Oaxaca, born and raised. After traveling and living around the globe for a while, I discovered that life is full of amazing people who love traveling as much as I do.

I try to travel at least one time a year, discover new cultures, meet locals and discover non-touristic places, which for me is the most valuable way to enjoy a place.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting new people makes me feel that I am still traveling in my own city.

Interests

Music and art in general are an important part of my life. I like to make collages. I also like to make music and sometimes I play with a zapoteca band, who together we are trying to promote our background.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One time I was broke so I decided to take all my paintings on the street and exhibit them, I didn't think I was gonna sell any but... not even kidding, I sold them all.
