Hello world! Emre here. Born and raised and studied and worked in Istanbul/Türkiye. About 2 years ago I made a move to Stockholm/Sweden to work and expand my horizon. I have an analytical mind; I studied mathematics and got myself into software engineering. Give me a problem, I will come back with a solution :) Coming from a geeky background, I have a tendency to be quiet and listening more than talking, being efficient, and calm. It has been balanced out (or maybe overwritten) with my recent endeavours of dancing lindy hop passionately, unsolicited travelling with my laptop and meeting with new people wherever/whenever. I am a big fanatic of fitness and health. But, don’t worry I will not push gym bro science out of a sudden when we are grabbing some nice fast food. Since I moved to Stockholm I have been travelling very frequently in Europe. I love the flexibility of my profession because I can take my work with me. All it takes is my laptop and a cool coffee shop. So I generally combine my travels with dancing festivals to have nice dances to get influenced / have fun, checking off must-see&do’s in the city, working/networking and meeting with cool people in events to make friends. My dream is to combine my hard skills with my passion and bring about my unique solution to help others to have more fun and meaningful life. I am working on making it work on myself :) I try my best to embody and seek in life: honesty, kindness, knowledge, generosity, independence, fairness, courage, inspiration, change, accountability. 🚴🏼💻☕️🏄♂️🏔🏖🚭🧿⏳

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
You know when you meet with a stranger and see that how much is actually in common and also how much it is a different world in their head. You get inspired by their accumulation of knowledge or simply just having pure joy doing fun stuff and losing track of time, making cherised memories. I am here to get stuck in and throw my dice.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I stopped a swing with my head when I was a kid. It did not go well … I skydived by myself once.
