Two children, 11 (girl) and 7 (boy); When I am not working, I spend a lot of time with my kids taking them to various activities: ice skating, biking, karate, tennis, swimming, etc. Professional: B.S. HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I am a new member and would love to use this to meet and live with the lcoals where I travel. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Most of my couch surfing experiences have been with friends. When I visit friends from college, I usually end up on their couch.
Music, Movies, and Books
Favorite movie: Godfather I and II; I have watched it several times and each time I see something new. I love to watch inspirational movies (think Rocky); raising two kids aged 11 and 7, I have watched and enjoyed every animation movie/Kids movie in the past 8 years (Shrek, Harry Potter...). Other personal favorites: Matrix, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Coen Brothers movies, Tarantino movies. Books: Lately, I have been reading mostly books on history (Civil War, American Revolution) and economics (Freakonomics, Tipping Point, Blink). Also, read self-help books (NLP, Positive Thinking) Non-fiction: Dan Brown (DaVinci Code, Angels and Demons), Jeffrey Archer, Robert Ludlum, Ken Follet
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Traveling through Israel and Egypt was one of a kind experience. From Jerusalem to Masada, to Nazareth, to the Dead Sea. Then to the pyramids in Egypt. It was breathtaking.
My Interests
Politics, religon (I am a student of all religons; I am spiritual but not religious), movies, books, economics, history, travel, hang out with like minded friends, sports (watching), working out. I have started taking classes on Neuro Linguistic Programming. Interesting stuff.
