Why I'm on Couchsurfing
WHY I AM HERE: Definitely, because I love to travel. And I realize that CS is a mixture of cultural exchange to help people travel cheaper, safer and further. It's my dream to travel as much as I can (target to Asia, then EU and US later) before my last breath =)) MY CS EXPERIENCE: Unfortunately, I'm unavailable to host at this point of time. But I'm willing to help out surfers by showing them around my hometown or simply a food-tour if you are kind of foodie surfer (just like me, eh?)
Music, Movies, and Books
MUSIC: I love instrumental, relaxing chill out music. If I could, I'd listen all day. MOVIES: Recently movies that I love and can watch over and over again: - "Begin again". Excellent indeed! - "One-hundred foot journey". It's an amazing movie for foodie! - "One chance". An inspirational movie, absolutely remarkable! BOOKS: I'm still looking for my favorite, but here some books that I love are: - "My Stockholm hubby, Paris lover and Bangkok buddy" - Nguyen Kim Ngan. - "Master your mind, design your destiny" - Adam Khoo. - "Your life without limit" - Nick Vujicic. - "Kindergarten is too late!" - Masaru Ibuka. - "The Da Vinci code", "The lost symbol", "Inferno" - Dan Brown - "Celestial destroyer" - Xiao Ding.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Here are some great memories that made my life meaningful: - Learn to skydive like a professional and jump by myself out of a Mi171 helicopter from 2,900 feet. - Swimming in the Sands SkyPark Infinity Pool (Singapore). - Snorkeling in Phang Nga Bay (Thailand). - Chasing a running train and jumped on it (Hanoi). This sounds risky, but it have ton of reasons behind =) - "Hunting Cloud" in Y Ty commune (Northern Lao Cai province). - Trekking through sand hills in 3 hours to Co Ong cove (Khanh Hoa province). - Learning how to windsurf on my 30 birthday at Mui Ne beach. - Taking part in a charity group in Saigon, aiming to help children at remote area.
Teach, Learn, Share
- I'm willing to help out travelers by showing them around my hometown. - I'm willing to pick up people from the airport or the bus station, whenever I can arrange my time, because I know how hard it could be when you are in a strange place for the first time. - I like learning about other people's experiences not only in traveling but in their point of view, everyone has an interesting story to share.
What I Can Share With Hosts
- A small gift for host(s) which suitable with their hobby upon arrival =) - It's my pleasure to treat host(s) at the local restaurants/ food courts. - In case we eat at home, I'd love to learn how to cook and it's my responsibility to clean up afterwards. - Help host(s) to clean or repair stuffs or anything as long as it is not crossing my comfort zone or illegal =))
My Interests
- I love to travel in any type: climbing on the mountain, swimming in the sea, learning new culture or taking part in harvest seasons. - I love to seek new food experiences, don't mind to try strange food. Though I can't cook, but I'm good at clean up stuffs at the kitchen =) - I enjoy visiting museum, places or just sitting somewhere outdoor to read a book.
