Overview
About Me
I’m a passionate Couchsurfing host based in the beautiful islands of Vanuatu. One of the things I truly love is meeting people from all walks of life. Couchsurfing gives me a special way to connect with travelers from around the world, build friendships, and share stories and laughs together.
What I enjoy most is showing my guests the real side of Vanuatu—how we live, our customs, our food, and the everyday lifestyle of our people. I don’t just want to be your host; I want to be your friend and give you an experience that feels personal and unforgettable.
And of course, no visit is complete without sharing a shell of kava! It’s our traditional drink here, and I love welcoming my guests with it when they arrive—and sharing another to say farewell when it’s time to go (with a few laughs in between, haha). It’s a small but meaningful way of connecting and showing our island hospitality.
If you’re planning a trip to Vanuatu, I would be happy to host you and help you experience the true spirit of this place. Let’s make great memories together!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing because I believe in genuine human connection. For me, it's not about free accommodation—it's about cultural exchange, building friendships, and learning from one another. I love the idea of opening my home to travelers who are curious, respectful, and excited to experience something real.
Couchsurfing allows me to share my culture with the world and, in return, learn about others. Every guest brings something unique, and every stay becomes a new story and a new memory. Hosting helps me stay connected to the global community while staying grounded in my own island life.
It’s my passion to help people feel at home, even when they’re far from their own. If you're looking for more than just a tourist experience—if you want to see the real Vanuatu, meet real people, and maybe even share a kava or two—then I’d love to welcome you.

Music, Movies, and Books
When it comes to music, I enjoy a bit of everything—especially reggae, island tunes, and feel-good music that brings good vibes and relaxation, just like our island lifestyle. I also love discovering the music that guests bring from their own countries!
For movies, I’m a big fan of action films, love stories, and documentaries. Action movies keep me on the edge of my seat, love stories speak to the heart (especially when they’re based on real experiences), and documentaries inspire me by showing true stories, cultures, and events from around the world. I enjoy watching anything that makes me think, feel, or learn something new.
As for books, I like reading when I have the time—especially books that are inspiring or teach me something about people, culture, or life in different parts of the world.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of my favorite parts of hosting is taking my guests out to experience local life—especially our traditional drink, kava. I’ve taken my previous Couchsurfing guests to enjoy a relaxing evening at a kava bar, where we sit, talk, laugh, and soak in the calm island vibe. It's a special way to connect not just with me, but with the local community.
Sometimes, if the mood is right, we also enjoy a cold beer together, especially after a long day of exploring. I love creating these laid-back moments where guests feel like they’re with friends, not just a host.
Teach, Learn, Share
I’m happy to teach you about Vanuatu’s culture, our simple way of life, and island traditions. I can show you how to prepare local food, how we drink kava, and even teach you a few words in Bislama, our national language. I also enjoy helping guests understand the customs and values that shape our daily life here.
I also love learning about other cultures, languages, and ways of thinking. Every guest brings something new, and I’m always excited to listen, ask questions, and learn from your experiences and stories. Whether it’s about your country, your food, your beliefs, or your lifestyle—I'm always curious and open-minded.
I enjoy sharing authentic island experiences—from kava nights to local meals, to just relaxing and talking under the stars. I’ll share my home, my time, and my friendship with you. I believe the best part of Couchsurfing is creating real connections that stay in our hearts long after the trip is over
