ABOUT ME

I've been having an amazing experience as a graduate student in Medicinal Chemistry at the University of Iowa. Here I've been studying the main methods of drugs discovery. I am fascinated by the perspective of being able to develop a drug that may be useful for sick people to improve their health status. This idea encourages me to do research about drugs discovery processes and also cling of being able to learn each day more about diverse diseases and drugs mechanisms of action. By the way, I am a very quiet person, easy going and friendly. I always seek to know more about other cultures and folks. I love to travel and I have a dream of turning around the world. I hope I will be able to do it soon.

PHILOSOPHY

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing is a great initiative! With CS it has been posible for to meet people and to travel around several countries. It`s an excellent opportunity to know people and to learn with them. After all, it's nice to have someone from the city you`re visiting to receive you and to have a good conversation. Usually they give you important tips about places to visit and things to do around.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like the type of songs that have a well cosisted lyrics combined with a good rhythm. It doesn't matter the gender of the music but, usually, I don't like rap at all.

I like the books of Agatha Christie and the adventure books of Julio Verne, wich I used to read a lot when I was a little youger.

Some movies: Saving Private Ryan (one of my favorites of action), My Boss Daughter (comedy), The Adventures of Robinson Crusoe and many others...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For about a month I was traveling around many countries in Europe and I could learn a lot from different cultures and meet very interesting people.
